Background

Becky and her husband, Marty, have two daughters, Katie and Abbie. Their home is in Hastings. Prior to joining Shepherd of the Valley in February of 2003, the Maxes were active members of St. Philip's Lutheran Church in Hastings, where Becky taught Sunday School and served on the Youth Board. Becky's favorite activities include spending time with family & pets, gardening, reading, and walking.

Education

Becky received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska, and a Master of Arts degree in the same field from the University of Kansas.

Work Experience

Becky worked as a speech-language pathologist in Nebraska schools from 1982 through 1994. She has been employed by South Washington County Schools in Woodbury since 1995. Becky enjoys teaming with classroom and special education teachers and parents to develop and implement meaningful services for children.
