Maria Paulsen

Background

Maria grew up in the heart of the Colorado Rocky mountains and moved to Hudson, Wisconsin in 1995. She has two brothers and an amazing mother, all of whom have taught her about the wonders of loving Jesus! Maria and her husband, Brent, live in Hudson.  Maria absolutely love to run, knit, hike, backpack, write for children, play guitar, and play Frisbee golf!

Education

Maria graduated from UW-La Crosse in 2002 with a major in Public Relations. She then continued her education at the University of Minnesota where she received her Masters Degree in Outdoor Education.

Work Experience

Maria spent over 10 years working for the YMCA in several different locations with several different positions. She also taught Spanish at Trinity Lutheran in Hudson and preschool at Footprints Academy in Woodbury. Most recently she completed her  6^th summer working at Hidden Pines Ranch Christian Day Camp in Stillwater. One of her favorite jobs included living in a tent for 3 months at the base of Horn Peak in Colorado as an adventure intern for Peak 3 Ministries.
